Interim coach Davide Mazzotta selected a 27-man squad featuring Scicluna, who previously represented Malta at U-19 and U-21 levels. Malta will face Liechtenstein in a friendly on November 14, followed by a crucial UEFA Nations League match against Andorra on November 19, where Malta is still in contention for promotion from Group D2.
In addition to Scicluna, the squad sees the return of several important players recovering from recent injuries, including Carlo Zammit Lonardelli, Enrico Pepe, and Steven Pisani. However, injuries will sideline Jodi Jones, Luke Montebello, and Steve Borg.
The full squad includes:
Goalkeepers: Henry Bonello (Hamrun Spartans FC), Rashed Al Tumi (FC Sheriff Tiraspol – MOL), Matthew Grech (Zabbar St Patrick FC)
Defenders: Jean Borg (Sliema Wanderers FC), Luke Tabone (Haverfordwest County AFC – WA), Neil Micallef (Birkirkara FC), Kurt Shaw (Hibernians FC), Enrico Pepe (Gzira United FC), Gabriel Mentz (Gzira United FC)
Midfielders: Matthew Guillaumier (FKS Stal Mielec Spolka Akcyjna – POL), Nikolai Muscat (Marsaxlokk FC), Ryan Scicluna (Marsaxlokk FC), Teddy Teuma (Stade de Reims FC – FR), Steven Pisani (Sliema Wanderers FC), Dunstan Vella (Floriana FC), Dylan Scicluna (Western Sydney Wanderers FC – AUS), Ryan Camenzuli (Ħamrun Spartans FC), Carlo Zammit Lonardelli (Floriana FC), Joseph Essien Mbong (Ħamrun Spartans FC), Myles Beerman (Sliema Wanderers FC)

Malta has been strong in the Nations League, gathering six points from three matches, level with Moldova. Mazzotta’s squad aims to continue this momentum and secure promotion, with the Andorra match serving as a decisive opportunity.
