Drake, the acclaimed rapper, has announced a hiatus from his music career due to health issues, specifically stomach problems.
This break comes shortly after releasing his new album, “For All the Dogs.” The 36-year-old Canadian artist expressed his intention to prioritize his well-being, emphasizing the need for a healthier life.
He said how: “I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach.” Drake plans to step away from music production for an indefinite period, possibly a year or more.
“I’m going to lock the door on the studio for a little bit. I don’t even know what a little bit is. Maybe a year or something. Maybe a little longer’.
This decision led to the postponement of several of his scheduled concerts, including performances in Toronto, Denver, New Orleans, Nashville, and Columbus, Ohio. His latest album, “For All the Dogs,” features collaborations with notable rappers like 21 Savage, J Cole, and Lil Yachty.
The latest album cover was illustrated by his five-year-old son, Adonis, who also makes appearances in the music video for the track “8AM in Charlotte” and contributes to the rap on “Daylight.”
