Domestica’s kitchen collections are everything you could want in a kitchen at remarkable prices!

Feb 17 2022 Share

There was a time when the kitchen was simply considered a utility, a service area purposely separated from the house’s social areas. Fast forward to 2022 and the kitchen is the beating heart of every single home; a place where loved ones come together, break bread and regroup after a hard day’s work. The kitchen is a reflection of our everyday lives and whether you enjoy cooking or not, it should be well-equipped, welcoming and absolutely stunning.

That said, if you’re looking to create the kitchen of your dreams, Domestica is the place for you! The local furniture business was established in 1969 and have become known across the nation for their high-quality, durable and custom-made furniture. Domestica’s 2 main kitchen brands, Pedini and Vama, come from Italy but offer kitchen-seekers the option of having their space manufactured locally, with the possibility of customisation to accommodate whatever layout the client requires.

During Kitchens Month, they are offering special discounts on both kitchens and appliances! That means that you can bag a gorgeous kitchen and pair it with tops ranging from granite to marble, quartz and so much more. Kitchens are also available in over 400 RAL colours and various wood finishes, with the possibility of choosing from over 400 RAL colours and wood finishes.

While it may seem like a lot to take in, rest assured that the brand’s stupendous team of architects and interior designers have got you sorted on whatever kitchen and design you may require.

To recap, Domestica are offering custom-made kitchens at great prices and customer service which is unmatched, so if you’re looking for your dream kitchen without wanting to break the bank, visit their showroom in Valley Road Birkirkara and take a look for yourself!

Send this to someone who is looking for a kitchen.

Nepali community raising funds to send Marsa crash victim Ajay Shrestha’s body back to Nepal

Nepali community raising funds to send Marsa crash victim Ajay Shrestha's body back to Nepal
Feb 17 2022 Share

Close to 500 people gathered in Marsa yesterday evening to celebrate the life of Ajay Shrestha, the motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in the Aldo Moro Road accident on Wednesday morning.

Members of the Nepali Community held a vigil near the Marsa crash site, laying candles along the area as they prayed for Shrestha. The 28-year-old, who worked as a food delivery courier, died in the traffic accident on Wednesday morning when a truck hit a central strip and overturned onto the nearing lane. As a result, a falling electricity pole hit Shrestha as he was driving.

He was described as a helpful member of the community, who would often contribute to social activities in Malta, also taking a liking to cricket. Nepalese People’s Relations Committee President Sandesh KC also described him as a hard worker who came to Malta to provide for his family back home.

The Nepalese community is attempting to gather funds to send his body back to Nepal, where he would be cremated. Due to insurance and repatriation costs, the community is accepting any help and funds to repatriate his body.

RIP Ajay.
