Footage sent to this newsroom captures yet another early summer sighting of dolphins swimming alongside a person riding a jet-ski in Armier. 

The footage shows the dolphins gracefully swimming alongside the jet-ski, up close and personal.

Dolphin sightings are already amounting as the country prepares to enter the full summer vibe – ready for some beach time, sun and freezing cold drinks.

According to a newly released report by the National Statistics Office (NSO), the number of reported traffic accidents during the first quarter of 2023 reached 3,822. 

This is an increase of 6.3% over the same period in 2022, with the Northern Harbour district registering the most accidents, with 1,369 (35.8% of total).

Meanwhile, road traffic casualties increased by 13.3% to 367 over the same 2022 period. 96 persons were grievously injured, with 52 of these being drivers, 8 passengers and 36 pedestrians/cyclists/others. 

Four of these, with one driver and three pedestrians, proved fatal. However, five less fatalities occurred when compared to the same period in 2022. 

77.1% of those grievously injured were male. All the fatalities that occurred were also males, with 39.8% of the casualties involved aged between 26 to 40. 

The largest number of road traffic casualties, at 53.1%, involved passenger cars, followed by motorcycles at 34.6%. 

‘Cyclists involved in traffic accidents amounted to 8, wherein 6 suffered slight injuries and two suffering grievous injuries. Meanwhile, road traffic casualties resulting from accidents between vehicles topped the list with 64.3% of all road traffic casualties.’

The highest incidence of road traffic accidents were register in Birkirkara (271 cases), followed by Ħal Qormi (220) and Mosta (183). Meanwhile, the Gozo and Comino district registered a decrease in road traffic accidents.

Jimmy Donaldson, known more popularly by his social media handle of Mr Beast, is doing a massive giveaway in celebration of his birthday. 

The now massively rich YouTuber, with a net worth of around $100 million, will be giving away $10,000 to five followers each – a total of $50,000 up for grabs.

Posting on social media, the social media star posted the challenge on his socials, with prospective winners having to share his post to Instagram story and tagging someone in the comments.

‘Also, if you don’t follow me I can’t dm you the money if you win. Winners will be picked in 72 hours, will show proof’ he exclaimed. 

People flooded the comments section with tags of other people, with just as many sharing the post to their story. 

Mr Beast is known for similar stunts, which arouse both praise but also controversy. He recently helped another 1,000 deaf people hear again after having done so.

Burnand took the now reigning couple’s wedding portrait in 2005, and has now continued his legacy capturing them in their regalia shortly after Saturday’s Westminster Abbey ceremony. 

The images were capture in Buckingham Palace’s Throne Room and Green Drawing Room, with senior royals and family members also posing for some photos.

The Queen was pictured in the Green Drawing Room wearing Queen Mary’s Crown and Robe of Estate. 

In a separate statement, the King expressed his and Camilla’s “most sincere and heartfelt thanks” to all those who helped to make the Coronation weekend “such a special occasion”.
