Destiny expresses her confidence in her Eurovision outfit

Speaking at a Eurovision press conference, Malta’s song ambassador Destiny Chukunyere reacted to several comments concerning her look on stage during her first ‘Je Me Casse’ rehearsal. Destiny stated that she is immensely satisfied with the outfit and her look, saying that she is comfortable with how she looks on stage.

She associates this with the message of the song itself which is completely about empowering women to feel confident in their own skin. She ended her message by telling women that they are all immensely beautiful and that they themselves be confident with how they look.

Due to Istanbul being placed on the UK red list because of COVID-19, the government had been trying to move the Champions League to England ever since. Transport secretary Grant Schapps stated that placing Turkey on the red list would have ramifications. The decision boils down to Uefa, and they were eager to keep the positive track record with spectators.

The move to Wembley from Istanbul was apparently successful, with the decision being confirmed in the coming days. The EFL are ready to move playoff games to different venues in order for the Champions League final to take place. The capacity at Wembley is set to be raised to 22,500 fans.

Destiny Chukunyere has just performed the first rehearsal for her Eurovision Song Contest entry ‘Je Me Casse’, which has been garnering attention and praise ever since its official release. Destiny took to the stage in Rotterdam in an elegant and vibrant pink outfit, and described her experience as incredible and immensely satisfactory. She stated that she is very happy that everything went well for her first rehearsal and loved performing every part.

Accompanied by four dancers, Destiny will be competing in the first semi final on 18th May after the 65th edition of the contest had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She will also be performing the song at the very of the night to a live audience of 3500 people, who must all provide negative PCR tests.

9 COVID-19 cases registered with 31 recoveries

Malta has registered 9 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 1,766 swab tests, while 31 patients have recovered. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.

As of Sunday 9th May 2021, 375,986 vaccine doses were administered of which 257,781 were 1st doses.

To date, Malta has registered 30,447 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 29,805 have recovered, 417 died and 225 are still active.
