International football sensation David Beckham has just spent a lovely Sunday with his mother, Sandra, and he couldn’t help but share a sweet picture taken during the dinner date.

Sharing the snapshot with his 73 million followers, the rare look inside Sandra’s kitchen shows the former footballer enjoying a homemade meal with his precious mum.

‘Can’t beat dinner with mum. Gammon, chips, pineapple, friend egg, coleslaw & mushy peas. Favourite as a kid. Thanks mum’ wrote Beckham.

The pair also went on to enjoy a jam doughnut and a cup of tea afterwards, and not gonna lie, we’re kinda jealous. The photo was a massive hit with Beckham family and friends.

David and his mum have a wonderful relationship, with the father-of-four often sharing appreciative posts on social media, especially on occasions like Mother’s Day. Sandra also has a great relationship with her grandchildren.

Brooklyn Beckham’s grandmother had an artist personalise a pair of Nike Air Force 1 trainers with sentimental drawings and messages for his wife, Nicola, on her wedding. The shoes were donned with butterflies and a replica of Brooklyn’s tattooed cherubs.

The video showed the delicate process of creating Emma’s shining costume before she took to the golden lit stage to perform ‘I Am What I Am’.

Previously, Emma had revealed that the dress took four to five weeks to create, going to explain the special meaning behind her Eurovision fit.

Emma highlighted how the dress, along with the platform and the piano, were made of mirrors which reflect oneself. This reflected (no pun intended) the theme of the song itself.

In comments to TVM, Maltese designer Drew Warhust also discussed the dress’ significance. He went on to explain how, given that the contest was being held in Turin, Italy, he intended to make Emma look like a Roman Goddess as she performed on stage. And suffice to say Tolo Fashion really pulled it off…

Flight prices to Europe will rise this summer warns Ryanair

Flight prices to Europe will rise this summer warns Ryanair
May 16 2022 Share

Ryanair has warned that plane ticket prices will be rising this summer due to a high demand for European beach holidays.

The airline’s boss Michael O’Leary revealed that he expects flight prices to rise by a high ‘single-digit percentage.’ The airline’s lower fares were currently driving increases in passenger numbers.

This helped the company recover from the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact, and O’Leary hopes the airline will return to reasonable profitability in its current financial year.

An annual loss of €355 million was reported on Monday by the firm, as the Omicron variant and the Ukraine war continued to worsen the likelihood of recuperating after the pandemic. The rise in oil prices and concerns for supplies also disrupted the airline’s operations.

However, the group’s loss for the year up to the 31st of March was smaller than expected, narrowed down from the €1.02bn losses seen the previous year. Prices are set to be lower up to June compared to pre-pandemic levels, but the chief said that they will increase over the summer.

Ryanair said traffic recovered strongly as it carried 97.1 million guests, up from just 27.5 million the year before thanks to the lifting of pandemic restrictions. They now hope to boost this further to 165 million, ahead of the 149 million record from pre-COVID.
