Crocs, the iconic footwear brand known for its comfortable and versatile clogs, is once again delving into the realm of nostalgia with its latest collaboration. Partnering with fan-favorite cereal Froot Loops, Crocs is set to release a vibrant iteration of its Classic Clog that pays homage to the beloved breakfast cereal.

Continuing its trend of whimsical collaborations, Crocs has previously captivated consumers with partnerships such as Toy Story, SpongeBob SquarePants, and even McDonald’s. Now, with the Froot Loops collaboration, Crocs aims to evoke fond memories and add a flavorful twist to its classic silhouette.

The centerpiece of the Froot Loops x Crocs Classic Clog is none other than Toucan Sam, the iconic mascot of the cereal brand. Featuring his unmistakable multi-colored beak, the upper of the clog showcases vibrant hues reminiscent of the fruity loops that Froot Loops is known for. Toucan Sam’s signature blue body and wings adorn the rear and the strap of the clog, completing the playful design.

Adding an extra touch of flair, the collaboration incorporates a variety of playful Jibbitz charms. From Froot Loops logos to charms inspired by the avian mascot himself, these accessories elevate the clog’s whimsical appeal.

Fans eager to get their hands on this colorful collaboration won’t have to wait long. The Froot Loops x Crocs Classic Clog is set to arrive in select retailers and online at Crocs on June 15, priced at $70 USD. Whether you’re a fan of the iconic cereal or simply appreciate a pop of color in your footwear, this collaboration promises to infuse your wardrobe with nostalgia and style. Keep an eye out for this vibrant fusion of comfort and fun!

Comino Already Littered With Rubbish, NGO Reports

Comino Already Littered With Rubbish, NGO Reports
Apr 5 2024 Share

Taking to social media, NGO Nadur Nadif revealed that, despite not being summer just yet, the island of Camino is already full of rubbish.

‘As the imminent arrival of summer looms, we have revisited the island to assess its preparedness for the forthcoming influx of visitors. Regrettably, our observations have revealed a disheartening reality. Despite assurances and pledges for heightened enforcement and environmental stewardship, tangible progress appears elusive.’

A statement reveals that as of 8:30am on the 4th of April 2024, portions of the island surrounding Blue Lagoon remain ‘marred by garbage’.

‘ The spectrum of litter ranges from commonplace items such as cups, bottles, and cigarettes to more egregious examples like discarded pineapples. Compounding this issue, bins are either inadequately labelled or not labelled at all, exacerbating the challenge of proper waste management.’

‘Moreover, the incessant hum of generators further disrupts the island’s tranquillity, eclipsing the natural sounds of the waves and avian life. While commendable efforts have been made in tree planting initiatives by previous environmental stewardship, the abandonment of plastic netting that surrounded the trees that die detracts from these endeavours.’

‘As we approach the onset of summer 2024, we fervently hope for an improvement over preceding years. It is incumbent upon all stakeholders to conscientiously fulfil their responsibilities in safeguarding our environment.’

According to a new report by Europol, Malta is one of the EU countries most susceptible to house and/or vehicle thefts by organised groups.

The Europol report examined 821 criminal networks around the EU and other countries.

It also found that over 25,000 persons form part of these networks, and up to half of them are involved in drug trafficking.
