Taking to social media, former Nationalist Party MP Jason Azzopardi alleged that a number of criminal court accusations have been presented against a number of persons in relation to the inquiry by Repubblika.
These include former Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri.
‘Be transparent. A new chapter for Malta is being written today’, wrote Azzopardi.
In a separate Facebook post, Azzopardi alleged that Edward Scicluna, the Central Bank governor, has also had criminal charges against him presented. These charges, Azzopardi stated, translate in years of imprisonment.
These reports were also confirmed with MaltaToday by a number of sources, including former President of NGO Repubblika Robert Aquilina.
This also comes as Steward Health Care, the US healthcare giant, filed for bankruptcy on Monday.
