The mayor posted an artistic render created by Steve Compagno which envisions the area from the San Gejtanu Church to St. Paul’s Square being converted into a pedestrian square and ‘prioritising the people.’

Despite medical reports from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stating that the vaccine raises no safety concerns for pregnant women, Health Minister Chris Fearne has said that Malta will not be changing its position on the issue.

Albeit being received with mixed reactions, Fearne went on to state that the country will continue to follow advice from the European Medicines Agency.

The Health Authorities previously advised women to postpone pregnancies by two months after being inoculated, going on to withdraw the advice after reviews from the World Health Organisation.
