Could Malta also be heading for lockdown?

 - COVID-19 - Nov 2 SHARE ON:

Following insider reports of 200+ cases to be announced today, the idea of another lockdown in Malta will certainly be put on the table to contain local spread of the coronavirus.

Belgium, France, Germany and Greece have all announced a second round of lockdowns with Italy and Spain announcing tighter measures and restrictions such as curfews as the closure of catering and recreational establishments.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also announced a second lockdown in the UK following a surge in cases across the continent.

This begs the question, could Malta be heading for a second lockdown to try and save the Christmas period?
