Malta will be launching the first ever national campaign on climate change. Environment Minister Aaron Farrugia is heralding #ClimateOn campaign, which is more than just awareness raising exercise about the dangers of climate change. The Minister said that ‘there is a need for tangible change towards a better quality life for everyone’.

The campaign is set to inform the public about the impacts of the very real threat we face in the 21st century. It will also encourage initiatives and projects that provide solutions aimed at reducing pollutions, public health threats, and environment and biodiversity loss. The Minister said that ‘the government cannot do this alone: citizens, businesses, industry, and all social groups have a part to play.’

Following PN Secretary General Francis Zammit Dimech’s confirmation that the PN is being targeted in a potential cyber attack, leaks of said attack have surfaced online with alarmingly threatening claims.

The suspected ‘cyber attackers’ have given the Nationalist Party 240 hours to communicate, threatening to ‘leak valuable company documents’ if they fail to cooperate.

They went on to reveal that they have ‘company financial data, salary payments, employees’ personal documents, banking, private client data, payment documents and much more.’

The Data Commissioner is reportedly investigating the situation at the moment and attempting to find out who is behind it as the PN have yet to reveal what steps they will be taking.

Following the recent worldwide uproar arriving with the introduction of the McDonald’s and Travis Scott collaboration, which unfortunately did not come to Malta, fans of the K-Pop band BTS will rejoice at the arrival of The BTS Meal in Malta.

Sharing a clever iteration of the BTS logo with McDonald’s fries, the global fast-food giant announced the arrival of The BTS meal through what looks like a concert poster, with the Malta date being 28th May.
