Malta will be launching the first ever national campaign on climate change. Environment Minister Aaron Farrugia is heralding #ClimateOn campaign, which is more than just awareness raising exercise about the dangers of climate change. The Minister said that ‘there is a need for tangible change towards a better quality life for everyone’.
The campaign is set to inform the public about the impacts of the very real threat we face in the 21st century. It will also encourage initiatives and projects that provide solutions aimed at reducing pollutions, public health threats, and environment and biodiversity loss. The Minister said that ‘the government cannot do this alone: citizens, businesses, industry, and all social groups have a part to play.’
