Classic car collector Carol Galea passes away

Classic car collector Carol Galea passes away
Jun 8 2021 Share

Mark Galea announced that his father, Carol Galea, an avid classic car collector and museum owner, has sadly passed away. Carol Galea owned the Malta Classic Car Museum, where the vehicles were restored to such pristine conditions that one would think they had just ‘rolled off the production line.’

Carol’s work evolved from customising and building his own cars to creating an entire tribute to the automobile industry. Carol’s legacy will continue on in the museum which acts as a time capsule showcasing all the history of the classic vehicles.

His son Mark bid farewell to, as he described him, the ‘most loving and caring dad’ and a ‘gentleman with a heart of gold.’ Rest in Peace Carol!

Prince Harry and Meghan welcome baby girl ‘Lili’

Jun 7 2021 Share

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have welcomed a baby girl, Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. The new family member’s name is a tribute to both Queen Elizabeth II, Lili’s great-grandmother, and the late Princess Diana.

The Queen had been nicknamed Lilibet by close family members, most notably the late Duke of Edinburgh. Lili was allegedly born on Friday June 5 in California, with the newborn being the couple’s second child.

The couple stated that both mother and baby are doing well, adding that they are settling in at home. Their first child, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, was born in May 2019. There are no photographs of the newborn just yet as they are still settling in, but the couple have expressed their joy in welcoming Lili into their lives.
