The idea behind this project is to not only give a tribute to the beloved series but also create a series which will entertain and teach at the same time.

‘Content is practically being consumed on a daily basis by young children. The problem is that they are faced with very limited content in Maltese, especially cartoons, when they do so.’

Produced in a 2D hand drawn animation style, the series will feature subtitles for all those watching to read and thus boost the fluency in the language.

Turi Animation Studio have been working on this project for over a year. With trust handed by the Arts Council Malta, a team of 5 people are immensely excited to bring this project to life.

The first episodes will start airing on ONE TV from October.

The individual in question is no stranger to the spotlight, oftentimes being the subject of mass discussion for her public acts. In her most recent video, she calls the corps “p*fta” before going on to state that they don’t take action when you call to report.

Mona60000 frequently uploads TikToks videos which garner tens of thousands of views, often accusing Maltese people of racism and online hate, with one particular video stating: “when an animals dies, you cry, why do you enjoy it when a foreigner dies?”
