Production on the sixth season of Peaky Blinders is in full swing and photos of the Shelby boss ‘Cillian Murphy’ have been circulating on social media.

The photos show Murphy in his iconic suit and flat cap, emerging amongst mask-wearing crew and extras.

The show’s upcoming season will be its sixth and final season, with rumours of a Peaky Blinders film circulating on social media.

Netflix drop trailer for Roberto Baggio film ‘Il Divin Codino’

Streaming giant Netflix has finally released a trailer for its film ‘Il Divin Codino”, centred around Italian football star Roberto Baggio and his illustrious career.

Translated to “The Divine Ponytail”, the film highlights the star’s 22-year career including his time as coach and the massive mark he left as a personality.

The film stars Andrea Arcangeli as Baggio and will delve into the star’s highs and lows, including the ever-famous penalty kick during the 1994 World Cup.

Robert Abela defends Prof. Charmaine Gauci after calls for her resignation

During today’s press conference, a journalist asked Prof. Charmaine Gauci whether she thinks that she should resign to make way for someone that will take ‘severe but necessary measures in spite of political pressure’ following claims that people are getting frustrated.

Prime Minister Robert Abela immediately intervened, despite the journalist’s interferences, stating that he will defend Prof. Charmaine Gauci with all his power, saying that it is thanks to Prof. Gauci and her team did Malta evade the thousands forecasted deaths towards the beginning of the pandemic.

Student organisations call for closure of schools & shift to online learning

Following today’s public health conference, student bodies and organisations across Malta have called for a complete shift to virtual learning.

The Junior College student council KSJC has appealed for a shift to online, posting a statement which was endorsed by both Junior College organisations SDM and Pulse while the latter have released a statement online ‘urging all educational institutions to shift completely to online learning’ until the 11th of April at the very least.
