Chris Fearne says AstraZeneca’s vaccine arrival is another cannon against Coronavirus

Chris Fearne announced in a tweet that Malta now has another cannon against COVID-19 as the AstraZeneca vaccine arrives in Malta.

The British-Swedish company’s vaccine is now the third COVID-19 vaccine to arrive in Malta following the arrival of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Malta will be receiving 1 million doses of the vaccine. This particular vaccine will only be administered to people between the ages of 18 and 55 since not enough studies have been carried out as of yet, regarding its efficacy in older people.

Robert Abela’s trust rating decreases as Bernard Grech’s rating increases

MaltaToday has published another survey regarding the party leaders’ trust ratings. Robert Abela’s trust rating has slipped to 41.7% and has been decreasing during the past couple of months.

Although the decrease is marginal, this is the lowest rating that Robert Abela has had since becoming the leader of the Malta Labour Party and Prime Minister of Malta.

The gap between the leaders is now 6.6 points and this is the closest it has been since the last general election.

Joseph Capriati, Italian DJ has recovered and is back in action!

Joseph Capriati is an Italian DJ, who went through a personal ordeal earlier on this year. He was stabbed by his own father, with a kitchen knife. Capriati took to social media yesterday, to let his fans know that he has recovered and will be making a comeback!

The 33-year-old DJ was being treated at a hospital in Caserta, Italy. His father had no previous criminal convictions. However, the 61-year-old father was arrested and charged with attempted murder.

Police officers reported that a fight between the two broke out on the 8th of January and this lead to the stabbing of Joseph Capriati.

Ħamrun lights up its streets ahead of Valentine’s Day!

Ħamrun Mayor, Christian Sammut has posted photos of Ħamrun lit up in decorative lights ahead of Valentine’s Day.

Sammut said that all the efforts to restore Ħamrun to its former glory are finally paying off. He urges residents to look forward to the future, and to the further regeneration of Ħamrun.

Sammut urged people to visit Ħamrun and to enjoy the atmosphere while shopping in the streets of Ħamrun.
