Following the sentencing of 39-year-old Bojan Cmelik for the murder of Hugo Chetcuti, the Paceville entertainment mogul’s son took to social media to share his reaction to the end of a 3-year saga.

“We will never be able to bring you back Dad, but now you may finally Rest in Peace”, the 30-year-old stated after posting an Instagram story saying “Justice has prevailed.” Chetcuti went relatively under the radar days before the trial but broke his silence upon the verdict.

Hugo’s brother Isaac also took to Facebook to react to the sentencing, revealing that the past 3 years were horrible for Hugo’s family, especially for their mother Winnie, who Isaac stated ‘lost all will to live’.

Luke also shared a photo with his father captioned “We will never be able to bring you back Dad, but now you may finally rest in peace. Never forgotten. My hero.”

Back in 2018, Cmelik reportedly approached Hugo in a dark blue shirt, light Bermuda shorts and straw hat, where he called Hugo to embrace him. Chetcuti responded with open arms but was immediately stabbed twice, with former nightclub security Cmelik fleeing the scene soon after.

Cmelik will be sentenced by judge Aaron Bugeja, with Chetcuti’s family seeking a life sentence for the premeditated.

Netflix might be making a Squid Game video-game

Netflix might be making a Squid Game video-game
Oct 13 2021 Share

As if Squid Game isn’t already popular enough, Netflix are looking into transforming the series’ concept into a playable video-game. The show already takes the format of players playing games and this would translate easily into a video-game format. Through some game-themed inception, Netflix had already announced desires to get into the video game industry and publish games with their app based on the original series.

Speaking at a Hollywood Reporter Interview, Netflix’s Minyoung Kim, VP of Content for Asia Pacific, confirmed that the streaming giant has branched an interest into turning it’s most historically viewed series into a game. There were an overwhelming but happy amount of requests, revealed Kim. The show itself is a form of Battle Royale’, so it seems things have come full circle. We’ll have to wait and see how the game will operate and what elements from the actual show it will keep.

First trailer for Home Alone reboot ‘Home Sweet Home Alone’ drops

First trailer for Home Alone reboot ‘Home Sweet Home Alone’ drops
Oct 13 2021 Share

The first trailer for the Home Alone reboot called Home Sweet Home Alone has dropped and fans are getting some nostalgic excitement. Set for release on the 12th of November 2021, the adventure comedy stars Archie Yates as the lead boy Max Mercer who gets left behind as his family jets off to Japan for their holiday.

The house is subsequently infiltrated by a couple played by Ellie Kemper and Rob Delaney who are attempting to make away with a priceless heirloom. The film seems to be giving a couple of nods to the original Home Alone franchise. Even original actor Macauley Culkin is set to make a cameo appearance, but it is as of yet unconfirmed.

Of course, the reactions were mixed. Some are praising it for its stellar cast whilst others just want classics to be left untouched. We’ll have to see if this movie lives up to the expectations, whether it creates something new or whether it was better to not touch the franchise at all.
