Thrift Pop Up Making Comeback This April

The Thrift Pop-Up is making another comeback – this time on the 26th and 27th of April.

The 7th edition of the The Thrift Pop Up will be making its way to the KSU Common Room at the University of Malta from 10am to 4pm for two days to host over 13 local brands.

The event is in aid of The Island Sanctuary Malta & Nature Trust Malta.

A video sent to this newsroom shows what seems to be a water pipe in road works having burst in Triq San Valentin, Balzan.

It is unclear what caused the pipe to burst, but the pressure forced a burst of water to spray onto the locality’s street.

It is also unknown if or when authorities addressed the issue.

A video shared by social media page @agestudioaudiovisual shows Malta’s Civil Protection Department tackling a fire which seemingly broke out in Mrieħel.

CPD officers gear up and tackle the flames, which seem as though originated from a rubbish fire.

Meanwhile, Malta Police Force officers manage traffic in the area to keep the zone safe for commuters and pedestrians.
