Despite not all of them winning honorary titles, the guests of the 65th Grammy Awards ceremony did not go home empty-handed, as they each received extravagant gift bags filled with expensive goodies.
The contents of last year’s gift bags ranged from lounge slippers and floral arrangements to a special edition wine and plastic surgery treatments worth $10,000.
This year’s gift bags, put together by Los Angeles marketing company Distinctive Assets for the 23rd year, are said to be worth an incredible $60,000. The most expensive item in the bag, a Bugaboo Fox 3 Stroller worth over $1,200, is expected to benefit celebrity parents who are expecting a baby this year.
The bag also reportedly featured cosmetic treatments worth up to $10,000, as well as a gift card for liposuction treatments from Art Lipo plastic surgery.
Luxury skincare brand, Miage, was once again part of organising the gift bag after hosting the Grammy Gift Lounge last year. This year, celebrities at the event received a full set of Miage Skincare products valued at $515.
The Grammy Gift Lounge, hosted by Tom’s Watch Bar @ LA Live, was open to presenters and performers for three days leading up to the ceremony, allowing them to pick up their gift bags and other gifted items.
NBC reports that the gift bag also included items such as turbo-flex sunglasses by Aspex Eyewear, a fine bubble showerhead worth $325, a heart-shaped brush by ReFa, a cordless robot pool cleaner by Aiper, a not-yet-released robot dog named Dog-E by WowWee toy company, and Swarovski crystal-encrusted flip-flops by Haivanas.
In total, the celebrity’s Grammy gift bag was reported to have more than 50 items. Lash Fary, the owner of Distinctive Assets, stated, “We’re excited to be back in Los Angeles and to once again be creating amazing Grammy gift magic.”
