One can see how skilled artists carefully arrange thousands of petals, salt and other materials to form a stunning design and learn about the history and tradition of the Infiorata.
The inauguration will be held later in the evening with the unveiling of the finished Infiorata masterpieces.
On Sunday morning the public is invited to join the workshops being held at Villa Rundle Victoria, where one can learn the art of flower arrangement and create your own unique floral masterpieces.
The Infiorata will be open to the public up to 1st May 2023.
This floral project will address the transnational creation and circulation of these ephemeral works of art. The Assocjazjoni Maltija EspressjonArti Gharb will be working in collaboration with Catalonia (Spain) and Sicily (Italy) in International workshops and with the creation of Infiorata in different cities. The fundamental aim is to allow artists and creators from various countries from all over the world to travel to the European cities and the rest of the world and present their creations and knowledge.
