The streets of Ħamrun are absolutely shining after local cleaning company Briiz’s collaboration with the local council, voluntarily cleaning up their streets, shopfronts and pavements, breathing new life into the bustling city.

The cleaning company has started works on Ħamrun’s main squares, Pjazza Kappillan Muscat, Oreste Kirkop Garden & St. Paul’s Square along with the restoration of specific areas for families and friends to enjoy.

Ħamrun’s new lease of life is a reflection of the city’s cultural growth & development from various facets of life and further expresses the local council’s solidarity with the business owners facing such hardships during the pandemic.

The high-profile portal Goal published the list on Tiktok counting down the top ten women footballers born on or after 1st January 2002, placing Haley in 8th place.

Bugeja went viral for her solo goal against Napoli, with the article highlighting her impressive achievements. She had joined the Italian team Sassuolo last year, rising through the ranks as an immensely talented footballer at just 16-years-old.

101 COVID-19 cases registered with 302 recoveries

Malta has registered 101 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 2,789 swab tests, while 302 patients have recovered. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.

As of Wednesday 24th March 2021, 155,678 vaccine doses were administered of which 46,140 were 2nd doses.

To date, Malta has registered 28,510 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 25,857 have recovered, 377 died and 2,276 are still active.

The Civil Protection Department was contacted yesterday about a husky dog that fell down a cliff in Wied Babu, Zurrieq. The department reported through social media that the officials from the USAR section and Hal Far station saved the husky after arriving on the scene.

The dog was taken to the APH Veterinary Hospital in Ta’ Qali to be given aid from Animal Welfare personnel.
