Maltese people will soon have their social lives back – Chris Fearne

Shortly after Health Minister Dr. Chris Fearne announced that the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered for free around the beginning of January, Dr. Fearne also announced that the Maltese citizens will soon have their social lives back.

He added that it is crucial for the Maltese citizens to follow the guidelines that are being laid out by the Health Ministry to combat COVID-19 during the festive season.

COVID-19 vaccine will be given in two doses, 21 days apart

In a Ministerial Statement delivered by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health Chris Fearne, it was revealed that the COVID-19 vaccine will be given in two separate doses, 21 days apart.

Fearne also announced that a helpline will be announced in later days to cater to any queries and issues that may arise and while not mandatory, will initiate a campaign to elaborate on the importance of taking the vaccine.

Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Dr. Chris Fearne has just revealed Malta’s Covid-19 vaccine strategy during a special ministerial statement.

During his statement Dr.Fearne has once again highlighted the fact that while the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered for free, it will not be mandatory.
