Prime Minister Boris Johnson has received the first dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine and signed off his inoculation session with an affirming two thumbs up.
I've just received my first Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine dose.
Thank you to all of the incredible scientists, NHS staff and volunteers who helped make this happen.
Getting the jab is the best thing we can do to get back to the lives we miss so much.

Johnson received the jab at St. Thomas Hospital in London, where he was admitted to receive intensive care after contracting the virus back in April.
Following the jab, the Prime Minister stated “I literally did not feel a thing and so it was very good, very quick and I cannot recommend it too highly.”
