The Maltese FRIENDS Reunion you didn’t know you needed.

Following the elimination of Mimi & Cruyff being made official, the Love Island Malta bombshells caught up with some of the other previously eliminated contestants from the show at a local club for some well-deserved partying.

A post uploaded to Instagram by Timmy Aquilina shows him grabbing a drink and jamming to some tunes along with Mimi, Cruyff, Seb, Michela and Soulayma.

‘Ta bla ħsieb’ (an unexpected one) wrote Timmy. Of course, not all eliminated contestants and bombshells were present for this unexpected reunion.

Andriy, one of the latest to be eliminated along with Michela, was not present, and neither were the previous eliminations. Still, this didn’t stop Nate from commenting and sharing some love with the contestants on the post.

Soulayma called the group ‘family’, as did Seb who called them ‘second family.’

Malta Reacts To Cruyff And Mimi’s Love Island Elimination

Malta reacts to Cruyff and Mimi's Love Island elimination
Jun 21 2023 Share

Last night saw yet another elimination, with the latest bombshells Mimi and Cruyff leaving the Love Island Malta villa.

The vote was down to the contestants, with each couple voting which of the pairings was the least compatible in the villa. Couples Gaby and Sven, Marie and Kyle & Dale and Nicola each had a vote against them.

However, Cruyff and Mimi received two votes against their coupling, leaving Allen and Chelsea in the villa. The couples bid farewell to the latest additions, thanking them for their brief experience in the villa which saw new friendships bud.

The Maltese audience also had something to say about the elimination. Many were seriously bothered by the fact that the vote was taken by the contestants, arguing that this would have been much fairer if the audience voted.

Some wished Cruyff and Mimi the best of luck, going as far as calling them the most compatible couple in the villa. Others seriously doubted the allegiances between the contestants.

However, the connection between Mimi and Cruyff seems to have weathered the elimination and Love Island Malta itself as the two met the other bombshells for a night out…

What do you make of this elimination?

Fake Taxi Licenses Being Issued: PN MP Shares Leaked Chat

Fake Taxi Licenses Being Issued: PN MP Shares Leaked Chat
Jun 20 2023 Share

Nationalist MP Adrian Delia took to social media to share what seems to be a circulating WhatsApp chat wherein an individual is being offered a fake taxi license.

The recipient of the message states that their ‘service’ offers ‘tag service without stress for Maltese drivers in taxi and bus for Malta Public Transport.’

They then go on to ask which category vehicle the person would like, whether it’s PTV or LPTV. After the person responds with LPTV, the recipient responds with:

‘It will cost you €500 for the complete process of your driving license tag without any test or practicals’, effectively skipping over the very important and only legal way to gain a taxi license in Malta.

‘The information that I have indicates that these are falsified tags’, wrote Delia. ‘If these drivers are commuting around our roads with said tags, they are doing so illegally.’

Delia pointed out that this creates a massive danger for Maltese roads, and urged Transport Malta to reveal whether any action has been taken against this abuse.
