Pop superstar Billie Eilish has opened up about having & living with Tourette’s syndrome after ticcing during an interview.
The singer-songwriter recently made an appearance on Netflix’s latest episode of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, where she addressed superstardom, inspiration and imposter syndrome, amongst other topics. At a particular moment during the interview, Eilish turns her head and opens her mouth, to which Letterman asks if it was the fly near her.
Eilish explained that it was a tic, to which Letterman apologised, asked if she would like to open up on it and allowed the singer to further explain her diagnosis and experiences.
“The most common way people react is they laugh, because they think that I’m trying to be funny,” she said, going on to highlight that she is offended when people laugh.
Eilish discusses her career, condition and much more in Netflix’s latest interview show episode.
