The Bidens’ family dog Major has been involved in another biting incident that required a National Park Service employee to receive medical attention. Two people with knowledge of the incident informed CNN that the incident took place on the White House South Lawn on Monday afternoon after which the employee had to stop working to receive treatment from the White House medical unit.
First Lady Jill Biden’s press secretary Michael LaRosa spoke to CNN, saying that Major still needs to adjust to his new surroundings after moving into the White House. The previous individual bitten was a Secret Service agent, resulting in the dogs being sent back home to Delaware. President Joe Biden did state the dogs were receiving training to avoid such other incidents.
