The debut of Family Feud Malta is now just weeks away, and the question on everyone’s mind has been: Who will host this iconic game show?

The wait is over! The host for Season 1 has been revealed, and it’s none other than Ben Camille, Malta’s beloved TV personality. Known for his charm and family-oriented nature, Ben Camille is set to bring his signature charisma to Family Feud Malta.

Institute Of Maltese Journalists Assumes Presidency Of European Federation of Press Clubs

The Institute of Maltese Journalists (IGM) has taken on the presidency of the European Federation of Press Clubs (EFPC) for the first time in its 35-year history.

The official handover from the previous presidency, the Galician International Press Centre, occurred during the EFPC’s annual general meeting, hosted by the IGM in Malta. The IGM will lead the federation for a year, with representatives from 14 European press clubs attending the event.

As part of the program, the delegation visited President of Malta, Myriam Spiteri Debono, at San Anton Palace on Friday morning, where they discussed the vital role of journalism.

Malta was proposed as the next seat for the EFPC presidency during the last meeting in Santiago de Compostela, in recognition of the IGM’s efforts to enhance press and media freedom in Malta following the assassination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.

“It is a great honour for Malta to be chosen as the EFPC’s headquarters. This is also a prestigious milestone for the IGM, as it marks our first time presiding over a European journalism body. We are filled with determination to continue advocating for changes in the local media landscape and greater respect for journalists and the profession,” said Matthew Xuereb, President of both the IGM and EFPC.

The EFPC’s annual general meeting was held at the newly inaugurated Drawing Room at Attard and Co’s head office in Marsa, which features a collection of old Maltese newspapers dating back to the early 1900s. The AGM was supported by VisitMalta, eCabs, and Attard and Co.

Founded in 1989 by the Press Club de France, the EFPC promotes dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among press clubs and international journalism associations, while also defending media freedom.

Helena Dalli Finds Threatening Message And Drugs On Doorstep

European Commissioner Helena Dalli confirmed that on July 31, someone entered her driveway in Malta and left a threatening note on her doorstep.

The message warned, “Next time I will be prepared with something for the children.” Dalli reported the incident to the police and provided CCTV footage showing the individual and their car.


The case was reported by Il-Mument on Sunday, even publishing security footage showing a man leaving the message on Dalli’s doorstep, describing it as the latest instance of growing division within the Labour Party, as Dalli was marginalized by the prime minister.

However, after following up a month later, she was informed that no progress had been made. Her son Luke revealed that the note was accompanied by a bag of drugs, which he found while visiting his grandmother with his child.

He criticized the police for not taking the matter seriously, despite having clear footage, and expressed concerns about safety if the threat materialized.

Opposition leader Bernard Grech and former Repubblika president Robert Aquilina expressed solidarity with Dalli.

Grech called it disgraceful that the police commissioner had not investigated the threat against a European Commissioner after a month, questioning how ordinary citizens could feel safe.

Aquilina emphasized that threats and intimidation have no place in a democracy and suggested that Dalli should be offered protection.

Prime Minister and Labour leader, Robert Abela is yet to comment on this tense situation.

Dalli, nearing the end of her term as European Commissioner, has faced internal party conflicts. Her husband, Patrick Dalli, accused Labour Party officials of undermining her credibility to prevent her from becoming Malta’s president.

Meanwhile, their son Luke Dalli announced that he was leaving the Labour Party’s broadcasting stations, after 14 years of hosting and producing tv and radio shows. He did however confirm that he will return to the Labour Party’s media wing once the circumstances are right.

Grand Theft Auto VI Release Date May Be Pushed to 2026

The highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI might not hit shelves as soon as fans hoped. Initially slated for a Fall 2025 release, rumors are circulating that Rockstar Games could push the launch date back to early or mid-2026. According to GTABase reporter Liam, who previously leaked information about the game’s announcement trailer, the delay is based on reports from developers across two studios.

While Rockstar has yet to confirm or deny these rumors, the current official release date remains Fall 2025. However, speculation suggests that the game’s PC version might not follow until 12-18 months after its console debut, which could further extend the wait for some players.

GTA VI is one of the most eagerly awaited titles in gaming history and will introduce the series’ first female protagonist, Lucia. As fans anticipate more details, the news of a possible delay is bound to generate mixed reactions. Rockstar is yet to release any further official updates on the matter.
