‘I was framed’ – Chris Cardona in Caruana Galizia inquiry

 - Local - Nov 13 SHARE ON:

Former minister Chris Cardona dismissed any claims that he knew of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s murder and went on to suggest that he was framed for murder as he testified in the Caruana Galizia public inquiry.

In a 3-hour session, Cardona barely made any reference to the Caruana Galizia’s exposé on his Germany trip and claimed awareness of a ‘frame-up letter’, which he will reveal at the ‘opportune moment.’

Amongst other questions, Cardona was asked about the time Joseph Muscat fainted during an event at Le Meridien two days before the Caruana Galizia murder and the existence of a kitchen cabinet.

John Lewis ‘give a little love’ in their emotional Christmas advert

 - COVID-19 - Nov 13 SHARE ON:

John Lewis have done it again as they release their latest Christmas advert which features a hedgehog, snowmen, balloons and a group of hip-hop pigeons.

The retailers are world-renowned for heart-warming Christmas segments and this year is no less with a pandemic-sensitive advert highlighting the gift of kindness and the power of charity rather than presents.

The group commissioned eight different animators to contribute to the stagnated creative community which has crumbled under COVID-19.
