The musicians paced through the corridors of the care home and played some gentle band tunes for the residents. With a statue of the saint accompanying the musicians, the elderly patients as well as some of their loved ones, switched up the day-to-day life at the care home with a touching and artistic act.

The organisers were also massively praised for keeping Maltese tradition alive through this gesture, even getting some of the patients to reminisce back on their days attending village feasts.

In Malta Daily’s latest episode of The Interview with Fabian Demicoli, Malta Premier League chairman Joseph Muscat stated that while most clubs operate very well individually, “they’re like chickens when it comes to working together.”

The former PM believes that this approach should change because there are countless opportunities for local football to move forward.

Followers were absolutely loving the interaction and stunned at the bizarre nature of the relationship as the tiny ape, named Niko and donning a nappy, tumbles around with the canine.

Joseph does not seem to be a stranger to all sorts of animals, having more videos showing the chimpanzee running around his home as well as hugging a majestic donkey named Gianni.

In Malta Daily’s latest episode of The Interview, former Prime Minister and newly-elected chairman of the Malta Premier League (MPL) Joseph Muscat addressed the state of his position as Malta Premier League chairman.

Muscat told host Fabian Demicoli that, rather than opting for the role himself, the former PM believes he was chosen. He went on to state that his exit from politics has allowed him the luxury to do certain things such as this.

Prior to his election as chairman, Muscat had promised himself that he would only work on things he enjoyed doing, and with football being a passion of his, the leadership role made sense.

During the interview, he also stated that the role is not a job or a profession, nor is it a paid gig, but is a contribution he feels that he can give, believing there is a wealth of opportunities.
