Are The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie actually dating?

Oct 2 2021 Share

2021 was quite eventful in the world of celebrity gossip and drama, but none have been more random than the reignited rumour of The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie dating.

Fans and followers went wild on social media after Abel and Angelina were seen leaving a Los Angeles establishment together, fuelling the rumour mill which began last June when they were seen at the very same restaurant. 46-year-old Jolie and 31-year-old Tesfaye were photographed outside an Italian restaurant in Santa Monica and were seen driving back to The Weeknd’s house.

Jolie is currently in a custody battle for their children with ex-husband Brad Pitt after their divorce in 2019.

Oct 2 2021 Share

A hunter has been arrested after four flamingos were shot in Qawra.

BirdLife Malta took to Facebook to share that while some of their volunteers were at Qawra Point, they witnessed a number of Greater Flamingos being shot. The Police were called on site, with the bodies of three of the protected birds being found at the scene.

BirdLife president Mark Sultana stated “these are desperate times”, with the suspected poacher arrested shortly after.

BirdLife Malta have urged the police to look into the situation and use all available resources to resolve the case as this is not the first time a flamingo was found dead in Malta, with the last one being found in the sea off Xrobb l-Għaġin last August.

Often times, our capital city of Valletta has welcomed and celebrated the underrated artistic prowess found across our islands and the city’s most recent light installation is a testament to that.

The Valletta cultural agency took to social media to welcome the installation “Ejj’Oqgħod” which has emblazoned the entirety of South Street.

The artist, Carl Caruana, has previously had his works featured in various Maltese streets, whose works masterfully celebrate Maltese culture while brining a contemporary twist to lighting installations.

What do you think of the installation?
