All UK arrivals to quarantine as death tolls rise

People who will be travelling to the UK are now required to provide a negative COVID-19 test and quarantine upon arrival in the UK.

Their new case numbers are decreasing but the UK is seeing an increase in hospitalisations and deaths related to COVID-19.

The new rules will come into force as from Monday.

Health Authorities to monitor carnival rush to Gozo

Following the surge of Maltese people who headed to Gozo for New Year’s celebrations, another surge is expected at carnival.

The Times of Malta has reported that 3 out of 4 holiday-homes which cater to large groups are booked for the carnival period.

Health Authorities have said that the situation will be monitored and they are appealing to the public to follow the safety measures which are in place.

Netflix to release a new movie every week of 2021!

Netflix has announced that they’ll be releasing a new movie, every week of 2021. Netflix said that these movies will feature, “the biggest stars”.

They’ve mentioned people like; Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Dwayne Johnson, Idris Elba, Meryl Streep, Zendaya, Jennifer Lawrence and Ryan Reynolds, among others.

The movies will also be directed by award-winning filmmakers!
