According to You: Nate & Soulayma shouldn't have been eliminated from Love Island Malta
May 30 2023 Share

According to a recent poll by Malta Daily, now-former Love Island Malta participants Nate and Soulayma should not have been eliminated from the villa during last night’s episode.

The pair were chosen for elimination by their fellow islanders after couples Nate & Shanise, Andriy & Soulayma and Dale & Nicola were revealed as the bottom-three couples as a result of public vote.

The remaining couples had to choose who to eliminate, with the male islanders having to pick one female and vice versa, resulting in the elimination of Nate & Soulayma.

During Monday’s jam-packed episode, brand new bombshell Timmy Aquilina entered the villa. Timmy’s entry caused a fair amount of drama for the boys after the bombshell went on a three short dates with Chelsea, Gabrielle and Shanise and then following up with a long conversation with Gabrielle… poor Sven.

Do you agree? Should Nate & Soulayma have been eliminated?

May 30 2023 Share

In a fantastic development for Malta in the Games of the Small States of Europe, 22-year-old Maltese Judoka Katryna Esposito has secured the country’s first gold medal.

Going up against 22-year-old Cypriot Veronika Kalaitsidou, Esposito secured a prestigious gold medal alongside a cool €10,000 bonus. The bonus scheme was announced by Maltese Olympic Committee president Julian Pace Bonello earlier this year, as an incentive for athletes to further pursue GSSE gold.

The bonus comes as a result of an agreement between Dr Clifton Grima and Sport Malta, resulting in the highest amount ever received by Maltese athletes in the GSSE.

Before Esposito, fellow Judoka James Zahra secured Malta’s first medal IN THE -60kg category after a victory against Liechtensteins Manuel Tischhauser.

Here’s to more silver and gold for Malta during the week-long games!
