Abner Aquilina Planned On Harming Ex Girlfriend

With a former prison inmate taking to the witness stand at the compilation of evidence of Abner Aquilina, the court heard how the accused planned on harming his ex-girlfriend before he went on to murder Paulina Dembska in January 2022.

The former inmate admitted to feeling tormented for weeks on end after having shared a cell with Aquilina for a month, with the latter reportedly boasting, laughing and joking about what he did to Paulina.

It was revealed on court that Abner would recount the details each time someone new was admitted to the Forensic Unit he was being held in.

The court heard how Abner changed his mind because he feared his ex girlfriend’s father would kill him if he harmed her. Despite never mentioning her by name, Abner then went on, the court heard by the witness, that he targeted “a girl who was feeding cats in Sliema”.

The court also heard, Times of Malta reported, how Abner bothered the inmates playing with his private parts and his intention to kill his lawyer.

Sex Education Releases Teaser For 4th And Final Season

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for its fourth and final season. The streaming giant has confirmed the release date of 21st September for the release of the end of this highly beloved series after the third season streamed around two years ago.

The series made its debut back in 2019 and was a game changer for many of the stars featured in it.

Among them are Emma Mackey, who went on from playing Maeve to being cast in the upcoming Barbie, Ncuti Gatwa who became the new Doctor Who and many others.

The final season is expected to be a love letter for the fans with creator Laurie Nunn saying that it became clear for the writers that ‘this was the right time to graduate’.

And from the looks of the teaser, we’ll not only be getting the usual antics the characters are known for but possibly even the reigniting of old flames, closure and good old fashioned dramatic comedy.

Chelsea’s Mum Wins Crowd At Boozy Bingo

Whilst out for a fun night at Boozy Bingo, partygoers were treated to the return of Tina, Love Island’s Chelsea’s mother.

Tina was invited onto the stage to deliver a message, telling attendees to love each other, enjoy every second of their life and, of course, deliver the iconic line from her cameo: ‘Chelsea, I’m coming’.

The audience went absolutely wild for the surprise appearance by Tina, who stole the show when parents were invited into the villa for a brief meet and greet with their kids and their partners ahead of the grand finale.

Chelsea, along with Allen, went on to win the first season of the show, with Chelsea being a crowd favourite to win along with her pairing also earning the approval of most of the viewers.

Tragic Incident As Diver Loses His Life in Cirkewwa

At approximately noon, the Police received a distress call reporting an individual in need of assistance in the sea.

Responding swiftly, the Police and a medical team from Mater Dei Hospital rushed to the scene. They discovered the diver on the ground, having been pulled out of the sea by individuals who were with him at the time.

Immediate medical assistance was administered, and the diver was swiftly transported to the hospital for further treatment.

Despite the best efforts of the medical team, the 50-year-old Israeli diver was tragically pronounced dead shortly after his arrival at the hospital.

The loss of a life is always a devastating occurrence, and our thoughts go out to the family and loved ones of the victim during this difficult time.

In light of the incident, the Police Magistrate, Caroline Farrugia Frendo, was promptly notified and has initiated an inquiry to establish the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.

The authorities are currently conducting investigations to shed light on the events leading up to the diver’s untimely demise.
