Maltese influencer Abigail Vick has posted a new video showing her fiancé local DJ, Patient, teaching her nanna and mother how to DJ and play a set.

In her post she wrote that “if this ain’t post worthy, I don’t know what is” and awarded her partner 12 points for being so good with her nanna and mother.

At a time where most posts on social media are negative, the world needs more posts and content like this that highlight good vibes, positivity and overall aim to make someone’s day better.

Jon Mallia’s Il-Każin To Kick Off This Friday!

This Friday marks the premiere of Jon Mallia’s new debate show ‘Il-Każin’, which will also be screened at Bottegin, Rabat this Friday 15th.

The new venture, heralded by the production team behind Jon Mallia’s podcast, will see various voices meeting up to debate various important topics.

With doors open at 7:30pm for some delicious nibbles, the screening will kick off at 8:30pm.

The format allows the audience in the Każin hall to vote three times, before, during, and after the debate, with the aim of determining which team was the most convincing. By posing their questions to the speakers, the audience also plays an active role in the debate.

The goal of Il-KAZIN is to foster conversations about the most profound subjects, for which there is no clear-cut answer, such as the history of the Church’s role in Malta, the impact of major political parties, and women’s rights over their bodies.

Loads Of Rats Spotted At Wied Blandun Paola

A video uploaded to popular Facebook group ‘Are You Being Served’ has made the rounds showing a rat infestation in nature reserve Wied Blandun, located in Paola.

Erika Schembri, the woman who posted the video, stated that hundreds of rats appeared suddenly next to her house, something she had never seen in her life. She also asked where she can report the situation which highlights the rarity of the situation and of such a massive infestation in public spaces.

3 Metre Long Barbed Wire Jellyfish Spotted Near Gozo

Marine biologist Alan Deidun took to social media to share footage of a 3 metre rope like creature known as the barbed wire jellyfish.

Spotted near Gozo, the Apolemia uvaria – ‘or more mundanely known as the stingy, stingy, stingy’ – is a highly stinging siphonophore species belonging to the same group as the Portuguese man o’ war.

The colony was filmed and photographed by Lewis Mark Sell and can be found down depths of up to 1000m and includes thousands of individual tentacled zooids.

The zooids are all happy to paralyse any helpers small creature which comes its way. Deidun described it as nature’s version of a long fishing line or drift net.
