Horse Receives Love After Years Of Mistreatment

Horse Receives Love After Years Of Mistreatment

Second Chance Horse Rescue has released a number of updates on Nova, the horse they recently received into their care who was mistreated for a long while.

Named Nova, a nod to her being a star and everything she’s managed to survive, the NGO revealed that she is being let out into the sun for some time and being given the love she deserves.

Unfortunately, her vet check up confirmed that her front leg injury went untreated for years and, as a result, her bones in her front leg have formed into one.

‘Although we are sure we won’t pretty much receive any other news because it is now too late to fix her, we have decided alongside with our vet today that we will see how she does in the next couple of days and see from there’, explained the NGO.

‘The least thing we want is for her to struggle and suffer but we are doing everything in our power to keep her as comfortable as possible.’

Meanwhile, the fundraiser opened for her treatment has reached €245 so far, with the NGO urging people to spare some more money to help care for this absolute star.
