A coronavirus movie directed by Michael Bay is coming out in December

Michael Bay, the director behind Bad Boys, Armageddon and a number of other blockbuster flicks, will release a pandemic thriller named ‘Songbird’ which revolves around a mutated virus years in the future.

The film is set in 2024, where the Earth is in its fourth year of lockdown trying to handle a deadlier, mutated Covid-23 with a 50 percent mortality rate.

It stars Riverdale’s KJ Apa and Sofia Carson and will premier on December 11th on VOD and on a major streaming platform in 2021.

Operation ‘Perfect Storm’ shuts down IPTV servers across Europe

European organisation Eurojust conducted a crackdown on a piracy and fraud operation of international scale having to do with TV and film streaming service, IPTV. 

More than 5,550 illegal computer servers were compromised in various countries around Europe with the operation turning an estimated profit of close to €11 million.

 Locally, the Financial Crimes Investigation Department and Cybercrime Unit of the Malta Police Force seized IPTV setups from an individual following a number of searches, finding 150 devices, 48 Smart Satellite Cards, smartphones and approximately €13,000 in banknotes. 

Investigations are currently underway.

Dua Lipa is now a playable character in FIFA 21

With all the hype surrounding FIFA 21, Electronic Arts may have found a way to appeal to the more casual fans by including celebrities known the world over, one of them being Dua Lipa! 

In its latest update, players can take the field with the Future Nostalgia singer alongside faces like Lewis Hamilton, DJ Snake, David Beckham and more.

Dua Lipa is set to feature alongside Miley Cyrus in Cyrus’ upcoming album, ‘Plastic Hearts’.
