We’ve compiled a list of places to go to when you’re craving a nice meal AND a nice view!

Don Berto is located at the Birgu (Vittoriosa) waterfront which specialises in Mediterranean food. This restaurant enjoys picturesque views of the sea, Senglea and Valletta.

Il-Veduta translates to ‘The View’, so in this case, the name gives it away! Il-Veduta is located in Rabat, close to Malta’s old capital city, Mdina. This restaurant specialises in pizza and pasta dishes.

Capo Crudo is situated in Valletta and is well-known, for their fish and pasta dishes, especially their Carbonara cheese wheel.

The Ta’ Xbiex Waterpolo Club has been around since the 1940s and has been renovated multiple times over the years. Ta’ Xbiex Waterpolo Club is famous for their combination of Sicilian and Italian influences.

The Chophouse is located in Tigne, and it boasts a beautiful and picturesque view of Valletta and Manoel Island. The Chophouse is famous for its meat dishes!

Nine Lives in Bugibba is located just on the beach. Here you can enjoy the endless sea views and a relaxed, ‘by-the-beach’ ambience. Nine Lives serves a variety of wonderful dishes.

Blu Beach Malta is located in Mellieha, and boasts amazing views! They are well-known for their fish dishes and exquisite food.

Il Pirata has recently opened another venue in Mellieha and this venue boasts wonderful views! They are famous for their amazing Mediterranean dishes.

The Londoner British Pub is situated in Smart City and here you can enjoy magnificent sea views!

At the Londoner, they’re known for their traditional pub dishes!

154 COVID-19 cases registered overnight with 148 recoveries

Malta has registered 154 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 3,282 swab tests, while 148 patients have recovered. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.

As of Thursday 18th February 2021, 59,702 vaccine doses were administered of which 19,199 were 2nd doses.

To date, Malta has registered 20,563 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 17,827 have recovered, 301 died and 2,435 are still active.

Peppi Azzopardi calls for justice for jailed cannabis growers

Following the arrest of a couple on Valentine’s weekend for cannabis use and Prime Minister Robert Abela’s announcement to present a draft law on cannabis regulation, various local figures have tackled the subject of cannabis use in Malta.

Amongst others, popular media personality Peppi Azzopardi called upon the Prime Minister to ask whether or not justice will be given to individuals who had been incarcerated for growing cannabis at home.

Malta Weather have forecasted median temperatures across Malta and Gozo and slightly warmer weather than usual which will last for at least a week.

They have reported a high, 80% confidence rate in the forecast.
