The 8th recruitment course of the Civil Protection Malta is coming to a close soon, with only 2 weeks left to go for the hopefuls.

The CPD took to social media to share some photos of the intensive training the recruits are undergoing ahead of their promotion to join the disciplined forces.

Fighting raging fires, the recruits will have to overcome their fears so that they can contribute to keeping the islands safe.

Hundreds once again made their way to Dingli to try out the ‘virale’ snack, with Adonis Brace, the mastermind behind the sensation, sharing footage of the crowd at his van.

Suffice to say that the toast once again immediately sold out, but people are determined to have their turn and try it out.

Adonis even issued a call to the Prime Minister to offer space to feed the people as hundreds keep convening for the toast.

Taking to TikTok, user @samira.ms_ shared her utter conviction and determination to try the famous Sofrito €9.90 toast… all the way from Gozo.

And to make sure that she got a bite out of the famous snack, Samira woke up and caught the ferry at 4.15am.

Driving all the way to Dingli and arriving at 5:20, Samira was among the first to get her hands on the famous snack – and people immediately started to pile up.

Still, Samira found the toast definitely worth the early rise and trip, giving it a full 10 out of 10.
