After 19 weeks of training, 53 recruits, including 8 females, successfully finished their training and participated in the Passing Out Parade.’

‘This celebrated occasion, steeped in military tradition, signifies the transformation from recruit to soldier in the presence of distinguished guests and family. Held at the Ħal Luqa barracks, the recruits, formed into squads, saluted and marched past dignitaries with their instructors and Training School personnel in slow and quick time.’

‘During the parade, Recruit Sujak Darko was honoured as the best recruit and congratulated by the Commander of the Armed Forces of Malta.’

‘These newly minted soldiers will now join various units of the AFM, ready to serve on land, at sea, or in the air.’

Instagram Is Testing Out Un-Skippable Ads

Instagram Is Testing Out Un-Skippable Ads
Jun 4 2024 Share

More ads! That’s right – Instagram is testing out un-skippable adverts as screenshots of this new feature(?) began circulating on social media.

The ad breaks show a countdown timers which stop users from scrolling on through content on the app before the ad finishes.

This is a similar advertisement technique to that of YouTube, which stops videos at certain points for advertisements to play.

As Instagram took on a more commercial route, with ads finding their way in various aspects of the app, it seems as though this new feature will be increasing visibility for more clients and brands on the app.

What do you think of these adverts?

The former Project Green CEO said that we need only look at Malta to see that the country is moving in the right direction but that we should not ignore problems and be critical in order to improve the state of the country.

What do you think?
