Now that it has come to an end, local online weather page ‘It-Temp Madwarna’ has revealed a number of interesting weather & climate-related facts about the month of October.

A few days ago, Malta’s villages were covered in thick clouds of fag with little to no wind resistance. The fog is a literal cloud which forms on the ground under calm circumstances (no wind) and humidity (relative humidity was at 98%) with clear skies.

The page informed its followers that cold air is denser than warm air and thus, drops, condenses and forms the foggy weather conditions we have seen. That being said, the maximum temperature for October was 29°C, a whopping 6°C higher than the seasonal median.
