On March 20th 2021, UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock announced that more than 50% of the UK’s adult population has received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This is all part of the country’s plans to get all 32 million people in the top nine priority groups vaccinated by 15th of April.
Yesterday we vaccinated more people than any day yet.
I'm delighted to be able to say that we've now vaccinated HALF of all adults in the UK 🇬🇧
The vaccine is a national success story & our way out of this pandemic.
