45 year old woman dies after motorcycle accident in Rabat

Police were informed yesterday at around 1730hrs that their assistance was needed in Triq l-Imdina, Rabat due to a traffic accident.
Preliminary investigations revealed to police that a 45-year-old woman resident of Imġarr had lost control of her Yamaha motorcycle and fell off the vehicle.A medical team was called on sit to give her preliminary aid and she was later transported to Mater Dei Hospital for further assistance. Unfortunately, the woman was certified dead a few moments later.
An inquiry has been opened and investigations continue. Rest in Peace.
