Ta’ Qali National Park is preparing to welcome thousands of locals and tourists for the 43rd edition of the Farsons Beer Festival, set to take place from 3rd to 12th July 2025. As Malta’s largest green space, the park will once again play host to one of the country’s most beloved summer traditions.
On the eve of the festival’s official opening, Parliamentary Secretary for Public Works, Omar Farrugia, visited the site together with Jason Micallef, Head of the Ta’ Qali National Park Unit, and representatives from the festival’s organising team. The visit was aimed at overseeing the final preparations ahead of the much-anticipated event.
Parliamentary Secretary Farrugia remarked, “This festival has become a staple in the Ta’ Qali National Park’s calendar. Thanks to the major regeneration project recently completed by the Department of Public Works, this space has been transformed into a premier destination for cultural and recreational activities. Our goal is to continue promoting these types of inclusive, open-air events that bring the community together.”
Steve Borg, who is overseeing the festival’s organisation, highlighted that the event is designed to be family-friendly. “The Farsons Beer Festival offers something for everyone.” he said. “There’s a dedicated play area for children and a wide range of entertainment options for all age groups.”
Across nine evenings, festival-goers can enjoy an exciting line-up of live music performances, an array of local and international beers, and varied entertainment in a lively, open-air setting.
