A video posted on Facebook group ‘Are you being served’ shows what seems to be large groups of people gathered outside Mariam Al-Batool Mosque in Paola. No authorities, police or LESA seem to be on site managing the situation. The person who posted the video claimed that despite having nothing against any religion or creed, this can only be considered as a mass activity.

After dropping to second place behind France, Malta has managed to fight its way back up into the betting polls at first place. Destiny’s ‘Je Me Casse’ has made international hits as many found the song itself, Destiny’s empowering message and the singer’s astounding talent to be worthy of winning the 2021 Rotterdam edition of the competition.

France’s Barbara Pravi is presenting ‘Voila’, and is currently behind Malta with a 15% chance of winning. Malta is at an 18% chance, with Switzerland following in third place with 10%. Destiny will have to get through the first semi-final night and then its onto the final showdown during the finals. But things are looking up for our talented ambassador as she rocks her rehearsals with electrifying presence.

Ohio offering chance to win $1 million to those who get COVID-19 vaccine

Ohio offering chance to win $1 million to those who get COVID-19 vaccine
May 13 2021 Share

The Ohio state has found a peculiar way to incentivise people to get their COVID-19 jab by offering them the chance to win $1 million should they get vaccinated. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine not only lifted pandemic health orders throughout the state but also announced multiple monetary incentives for residents who get the vaccine.

Noting that 42% of Ohioans have been fully vaccinated, DeWine also stated that among the vaccinated 12 to 17-year-olds, a full scholarship to a four-year state college will be paid for by the government, including tuition, room-and-board, and books.

A weekly drawing for adults who have received at least their first dose will span five weeks. DeWine acknowledged that many might find the idea crazy and a waste, but he pointed out that the real waste at this point is a life lost to COVID-19.
