Malta has registered 4 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 2,279 swab tests, while 3 patients have recovered. No deaths were registered in the past 24 hours. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.

As of Saturday 29th March 2021, 512,214 vaccine doses were administered of which 316,224 were 1st doses. 205,221 people are currently fully vaccinated.

To date, Malta has registered 30,533 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 30,046 have recovered, 419 died and 68 are still active.

Police warn public of online scammers after theft of over €100,000

The Cyber Crime Unit within the Malta Police Force has advised the Maltese public to remain vigilant against scammers and acts of cyber crime after more than €100,000 was stolen from multiple individuals.

200 scam reports were submitted to the Cyber Crime Unit, where victims noted of having between €800 and €1,800 stolen from their bank accounts.

Such scams can take the form of bank notifications asking for credentials or postal service messages asking for an ‘administrative fee’ and can be avoided by refraining from clicking on suspicious links.

As the PlayStation 5 continues to remain a much sought-after treasure for gaming fans around the world, the never-ending debate on the controller’s iconic traits is as strong as ever.

While PlayStation’s DualSense controller received a sleek, modern glow-up to keep up with the times, the set-up retained some classic design features, namely the Triangle, Circle, CROSS, Square buttons.

That’s right, Cross.

In a tweet back in 2019, PlayStation UK themselves verified that the bottom button is indeed called a ‘cross’ and not an ‘X’, the latter of which being the most popular name for it for the past 25 years.

Boris Johnson marries fiancée Carrie Symonds in secret London ceremony

Multiple newspapers have reported that UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson got married to fiancée Carrie Symonds in a secret ceremony at Westminster Cathedral on Saturday.

The ceremony was held in front a select group of friends and family, where the couple exchanged vows after six months of preparations despite the couple sending ‘Save the Date’ cards to friends and family dated 30 July 2022.

English newspaper The Sun also reported that Cathedral staff told the visitors t evacuate as the building went into lockdown.
