Malta has registered 345 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 3,832 swab tests, while 192 patients have recovered. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.

As of Friday 5th March 2021, 92,806 vaccine doses were administered of which 31,710 were 2nd doses.

To date, Malta has registered 24,216 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 20,484 have recovered, 329 died and 3,403 are still active.

Women gets part-time job at nursing home to see her father during pandemic

While it may not be the first time we’ve heard that the pandemic has affected our lives and livelihoods, we must take note that the disastrous effects of this virus have crushed the lives and families of many, with particular individuals turning their lives upside down to keep up.

Lisa Racine is a testament to this as the 58-year-old, full-time project manager took on a part-time job at a Minnesota nursing home, where she works two to three nights a week stocking cupboards, washing plates, cleaning floors and serving food in order to spend time with her 87-year-old father.

In an interview with CNN, Racine said that she would go to her father’s room at the end of her shift and spend anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour-and-a-half near her father, depending on how he was feeling.

Netflix drops intense trailer for Lupin Part 2

Netflix’s smash hit Lupin hit the ground running upon its release and the streaming giant looks to keep the moment going as they release a trailer for the show’s part two.

Episodes are most likely to drop this summer and follow Omar Sy’s Assane Diop in this 21st century adaptation of Maurice LeBlanc’s classic novels.

With the first five episodes ending on a cliffhanger (no spoilers), the upcoming episodes are sure to shed some light on Assane’s story and will surely, once again, leave us at the edge of our seats.

The Looney Tunes are set to return in 3D as they join LeBron James, Don Cheadle and a star-studded cast of Warner Brothers icons as the studios have released a proper first look at the Space Jam sequel ‘A New Legacy’.

The follow-up to Michael Jordan’s foray into the Looney Tunes world will be missing number 23 but will shed a new light on the Looney Tunes as the Tune Squad face their biggest challenge yet, with Lebron James revealing that it is ‘the biggest game’ he has ever played.

The plot follows the basketball star as he and his son get trapped in virtual reality by the movies big bad, played by Cheadle and is set for release on July 16 in the US, with releases in Europe and elsewhere to follow soon after.
