3 COVID-19 cases registered with 5 recoveries

Malta has registered 3 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 2,024 swab tests, while 5 patients have recovered. No deaths were registered in the past 24 hours. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.

As of Sunday 6th June 2021, 551,494 vaccine doses were administered of which 327,155 were 1st doses. 233,826 people are currently fully vaccinated.

To date, Malta has registered 30,571 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 30,078 have recovered, 419 died and 74 are still active.

Tinder lets you block your ex to avoid awkward swipes

Seeing your ex as you swipe through potential Tinder matches is not a very ideal experience. The app has you covered as it installed a feature which allows you to block exes and avoid encountering them on the swipe options. Now you can avoid that dilemma of feeling rude for swiping left but still not wanting to swipe right.

By going to profile settings, users will find a block contacts feature. There, one can adjust the settings to either not see a specific contact, or not be seen by them yourself. This will also allegedly work on contacts who aren’t on Tinder yet, so you have nothing to worry about. Despite not being able to avoid run-ins in real life, at least Tinder can give you some security against having an unwanted blast from the past.
