A 27-year-old Frenchman sustained grievous injuries after his car was hit by a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old Italian residing in Zebbug.
The incident occurred on Sunday around 6.30 in the evening in Triq San Pawl, St. Paul’s Bay.
A medical team was called onto the scene and took the 27-year-old to Mater Dei, where he was confirmed to have sustained grievous injuries.

Despite the recent shift to summery weather, the latest weather models are predicting drops in temperature and rain showers across Malta and Gozo over the next.
The Malta International Airport predicts temperatures as high as 17°C and lows 11°C to accompany the forecasted rain showers as low pressure systems traverse the Mediterranean.
