The Prime Minister said that when asked this question, he answers with respect by saying that when it comes to work, the government is always ‘gass mal-pjanċa’ (feet on the gas pedal), whether there is an election or not.

In recent weeks, the government issued Tax Refund Cheques as well as €500 for parents whose children have continued to study after secondary school whilst also reaching a collective agreement with the Union for Teachers.

Grillo’s outstanding performance continued in the final, where he finished third with an impressive time of 10.23 seconds. However, due to an assisting wind of +2.7, this time will not count as a new national record.

Grillo also contributed to another record-breaking feat as part of Malta’s men’s relay team. Alongside Luke Bezzina, Graham Pellegrini, and Jacob El Aida Chaffey, the team set a new national record in the 4x100m relay with a time of 40.57 seconds.

This surpassed the previous record of 40.63 seconds set in 2005 by Jeandre Mallia, Rachid Chouhal, Mario Bonello, and Darren Gilford during the GSSE in Andorra.
