2 LESA Officials Hospitalised After Traffic Accident

Two LESA officers, a 40-year-old from Fgura and a 45-year-old from Marsaskala, were taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance after being involved in a traffic accident on Triq San Tumas, Ħal Luqa.

The details of the accident are still unclear, but it appears that two service motorcycles collided with each other.

The severity of any injuries sustained by the officers is also still unconfirmed.

A medical team, led by Emergency was called to the scene, and an ambulance transported the officers to the hospital for treatment.

Maltese footballer Sara Saliba has just did it again after scoring her second goal for AC Milan against U.S. Sassuolo.

The second goal with the team in her second game, Sara sealed the deal for her team by finding the net in the 74th minute, breaking the tie and making it a 3-2 win for the rossonere.

The first goal came in a 5-2 victory over Fiorentina, after having joined the team this summer following a short sting at Pomigliano before finishing the 2023/24 season at Birkirkara.

Malta Premier announced that Justin Huber has just become the oldest player ever since the Malta Premier Division was introduced back in 1980.

At 43 years, 3 months and 12 days old, Haber has beat the record of Ray Xuereb from Naxxar Lions, who made a substitute appearance against Floriana on the last MD of season 1994/95.

Xuereb was 42 years, 7 months and 16 days old at the time.
