Zendaya steals the show at Dune 2 Premiere.

Zendaya stole the spotlight at the world premiere of Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune: Part Two” in London, showcasing her own sci-fi fantasy. The actress made a bold futuristic statement by donning Thierry Mugler’s iconic robot suit from his fall 1995 collection. Designed in collaboration with artist Jean-Jacques Urcun, the suit boasts intricate plexiglass cutouts embedded within its chrome frame. Originally unveiled during Mugler’s 25th-anniversary show in Paris, the suit drew inspiration from Futura, a character from Thea von Harbou’s “Metropolis,” and required six months of meticulous craftsmanship. Notably featured in the Brooklyn Museum’s “Thierry Mugler: Couturissime” exhibit in 2022, a customised version of the suit crafted by Casey Cadwallader graced Beyoncé during her “Renaissance World Tour” in June 2023.

Joining her fellow cast members of “Dune: Part Two” for a photo call in London, Zendaya exuded elegance in a deep purple ensemble from Roksanda’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. Set to premiere on March 1, the film sees Zendaya portraying the lead character Chani, alongside an ensemble cast including Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, and Anya Taylor-Joy. At the world premiere, Chalamet rocked metallic pants by Haider Ackermann, while Pugh embraced the futuristic theme in a dazzling sequinned hood dress by Valentino.
